Dr Michael Vella has over 20 years experience with musculo-skeletal injuries and has university qualifications including a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Anatomy and Physiology from Sydney University and a Master of Chiropractic from Macquarie University.

What to expect from your chiropractic care?

We will undertake a detailed history regarding your current complaint and your past spinal & medical health.

We will the conduct an orthopedic and neurological examination that will involve examining you posture, joint mobility and muscular strength. In addition we may examine your balance and the condition of your nervous system. If X-rays or further imaging is required we will refer you.

We will reach a diagnosis and discuss this with you, furthermore we will recommend the form of treatment that may serve you best and what this may involve.

Treatment will often commence on your first visit, our treatment protocol involves a combination of both active and passive approaches and would typically include an initial treatment assessment, followed by progressive movement and exercise reinforcement.
