If you have extras cover that includes chiropractic treatment, you may be able to claim your consultation on the spot using our HICAPS terminal. This allows eligible health fund members to process their rebate immediately, meaning you’ll only need to pay the remaining gap, if applicable.

At Penrith Chiropractor Clinic, we accept HICAPS claims from most major Australian private health funds, making it quick and convenient to access your chiropractic care.

HICAPS provides fast electronic claiming for eligible private health insurance policies. Simply bring your health fund membership card to your appointment and we’ll process your claim during your visit.

The rebate you receive depends on your individual level of extras cover and your health fund’s benefits. If you’re unsure of your entitlements, we recommend contacting your health fund before your appointment.

Muscle Release Therapy

Trigger points (hype-irritable spots) located in a tight band of muscles can sometimes feel like nodules in the muscles. Treatments usually involves applying direct pressure on the nodules and/or passive and active stretching of the muscles.

Spinal Mobilisations

Involve small gentle and specific movements that are applies to the painful stiff or inflamed areas.

Spinal Adjustments

Are more precise movements that are used to correct areas of joint dysfunction. Spinal mobilisation and adjustments when used appropriately are very effective in reducing pain, increasing blood flow, increasing spinal and joint range of motion, breaking down scar tissue and reducing muscle spasm.
